This project began with choosing the color palette and designing the cover. One of the main ideas in the book is the passage of time, so a gradient was used to show that flow. The same type of gradient was also used on the chapter pages to keep the idea going.
              Repeated observations are shown by using the same images multiple times. The chapter index and diagram credits also stay in fixed positions for consistency.
